The problem with free wedding website builders

There is nothing wrong with the free builders. The Knot, Zola, Joy and Canva all make genuinely capable tools, and if you enjoy that kind of thing you should use one and keep your money.

The catch is that a tool is not a website. A tool is a Saturday afternoon, then another Saturday afternoon, then a evening spent working out why the photo is cropping badly on phones, then a fight about wording, then the thing sits three-quarters finished until six weeks before the wedding.

You are already planning a wedding. The question is not whether you could build it. It is whether you want another project.

Done-for-you means you send us what you have and we come back with a finished website. That is the entire difference.

Names, date, venue, and any photos. A paragraph about how you met if you have one. If you do not have photos yet, we start without them.

Including the parts couples find hardest — the travel page, the lodging list, the FAQ. You are not handed a blank template to fill in.

Not a mockup or a PDF. A working website you open on your phone, in about three days.

4. You tell us what to change

We change it. Then you get a login and can keep editing it yourself right up to the wedding, if you want to.

Who this is not for

If you like building things, use a free builder. You will have fun and you will save a couple of hundred dollars, and that is a completely sensible decision.

This is for the couple who has opened the wedding website tab four times, closed it four times, and would quite like someone to just do it.

Can we still edit it ourselves afterward?
Yes. You get a login and can change wording, swap photos and update the schedule any time. Done-for-you is where it starts, not a cage.
What if we do not like it?
You tell us what to change and we change it. Nothing is due until you have seen the real thing.
Do you write the words too?
Yes, including the travel and lodging pages, which are the parts most couples stall on. You edit anything that does not sound like you.
